I learned a lot from Steve over the years about Israel and contemporary Jewish life. We could disagree but it was important to have the conversation with Steve and learn from him. He is a leading light in Jewish education in America and an important voice.

Rabbi Steve Foster and Senator Joyce Foster have been wonderful friends to me for many years. Their passion for their community, public service, and social justice issues is unsurpassed.
